SUMMARY:Virtual Story Share
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a virtual gathering where we celebrate stories from both Eastside Riverside and Westside San Bernardino. This event is a unique opportunity to connect with others and share your own experiences. Poet and storyteller Alyce Smith Cooper will facilitate a conversation about how racism impacts our health through the lens of history. \nThis Story Share is part of the larger East Meets West Project at the Civil Rights Institute of Inland Southern California. Poet and storyteller Alyce Smith Cooper will use the inspiring stories shared during the virtual story share session to create a poetic and musical performance with the help of a local DJ. This performance\, alongside work from local photographers will be exhibited at the Civil Rights Institute of Inland Southern California this coming November.
