Black Voice News “Care in the I.E.” Popup Exhibit

November 6 @ 9:00 am - November 30 @ 5:00 pm

Free

Explore the heartfelt world of family caregiving at Care in the I.E., a powerful exhibition based on our in-depth article series, created in partnership with United Domestic Workers. Through poignant portraits and insightful narratives, this exhibition highlights the 75-80% of family caregivers who step up to care for their loved ones, often guided by a deep cultural commitment to family care at home.

Care in the I.E. brings to light the unique challenges family caregivers face: balancing work, childcare, and their own health needs, often with limited support or training. We delve into their stories, capturing both the fulfilling and difficult moments that come with learning to care. This exhibit also asks, who cares for the caregivers? and offers resources on training, support options, and strategies for caregivers seeking relief.
