In just a short span of time, the Civil Rights Institute of Inland Southern California has emerged as vibrant force. The nonprofit is dedicated to providing various public programs that focus on civil rights and the region’s civil rights history.
Thus far, the organization been successful in illuminating the lived experiences of residents in the area through oral history projects, archival initiatives, and celebrating the region’s civil rights leaders.
For executive director Sabrina Gonzalez, the journey is just beginning.
